More Info
Bienno, in dialect “Bién,” is an ancient medieval village located in the Province of Brescia, in the middle Valle Camonica, which has become famous as a recipient of the title “Village of Villages” and “Orange Flag Village,” thanks to its many beauties, shady alleys, picturesque courtyards, frescoed churches, green mountains and lush hills that frame it…
Strolling through its alleyways, one still finds the culture of craftsmanship alive: entering the historic forges, one can witness live ironworking, the secrets of which have been handed down from generation to generation by the Frears, becoming an indelible heritage of Bienno culture.
Bienno is also a place characterized by the intermingling of past and present, with new forms of art proposed by the Artists participating in the “Bienno Borgo degli Artisti 2.0” project, with events organized throughout the spring and summer.
A calendar full of different events for each month of the year is ready to bring unique excitement to tourists of all ages:
Dozens of events organized by Artists 2.0 taking place from April to September;
June’s “Palio dei Cantù.”
July the patronal feast of St. Apollonius;
October the Feast of Christ the King;
In December the Christmas Markets.
