The village of Bardineto is located on a forested plateau formed by pine, fir, beech, and birch trees. Limestone and dolomite formations are frequent in the Bardinetese territory, with extensive surface and underground karst phenomena with the presence of nearly eighty caves. Among the best known cavities, known as “buranche,” are those of Bardineto (more than 2 km of tunnels), Balbiseulo (1.2 km), Rampiun (1 km) and Pagliarina (430 m).

The parish church of St. John the Baptist, built in 1720, has a structure in Piedmontese Baroque style; the church of St. Nicholas, erected around the 12th century, in Romanesque style, has valuable 15th-century frescoes in its interior.

The Oratory of the Assumption, the Chapel of the Annunciation and the Chapel of St. Bernard also deserve mention.

Near the Romanesque church of St. Nicholas the remains of the ancient castrum, erected by the Lombards in the 7th century, can be seen: feudal castle.

On the second or third Sunday of September, the “Golden Mushroom Festival” is held.
