The Staging Area
The rest area is located in Bardone of the municipality of Terenzo (PR). The rest area consists of No. 8 paved sites equipped with: electricity, toilets and hot showers, washhouse, barbecue area and free Wi-Fi, Camper service, lighted area, unattended. Quiet area, open year-round. The nearest center is Calestano, 8 km away, while the Fornovo di Taro A15 highway exit is 15 km away.
In the area there is the possibility of walking, hiking, cycling, mountain-biking. Bardone is small settlement located on the Via Francigena where the ancient Romanesque parish church stands out. After arrival, contact the person in charge by phone who will activate services. Payment of the fee to the appointee.

At the foot of Mount Croce rises the village, an important road junction in the medieval period and a strategic junction on the Romea road, once traveled by pilgrims and by Ligurians and Tuscans, who passed through Terenzo on their journeys from the Via del Sale.
The village is home to the ancient Church of St. Stephen.
A few kilometers from the center lies the small hamlet of Bardone, where it is possible to visit the Pieve di Santa Maria.
About 5 km away we find the quaint medieval village of Cassio.
