Newly built parking area on asphalt surface, free of charge, open year-round 24 hours
out of 24, is located in Monferrato, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014
through the INFERNOTs.
The area, which is managed by the municipality, is lighted, has 18 RV sites, columns for
electrical connection, water loading, sewage discharge, and emptying/cassette service,
Toilet facilities including for the disabled, sinks for dishwashing.
The area is fenced and entry is controlled through coded access by means of
numeric keypad. Animals are allowed.
Outside the area but in close proximity is a well-stocked market (50 mt),
a playground and sports area (200 mt), surrounded by greenery, with padel courts,
soccer/tennis, basketball/volleyball. Other stores and services nearby.
It is possible, through the municipality’s tourist office, to make visits to the infernots of the
village, to the Bricherasio chapel, to the roof garden of the Bricherasio palace, to the bell tower
of the parish dedicated to Mary of the Assumption, a symbol of the town that, at 56 meters,
dominates the surrounding area.
